            Kenny is an Eastern Shore native who came to Chesapeake Forest Products Company in 1976 where he worked on the CFPC’s eastern shore survey crew.  He soon became the Eastern Shore Crew Leader, a position he maintained until CFPC sold their forestland.  With St. Laurent then Smurfit-Stone (1998-2001) Kenny was a Forestry Technician with responsibilities in timber procurement and timber harvest supervision.   He left Smurfit-Stone to join the Vision Forestry team in 2001 where he leads the Vision team in both hunt club oversight and timber harvesting supervision. 
            In his capacity of survey crew leader with CFPC, Kenny became acutely familiar with the Chesapeake Forest Properties and their many neighbors.   As CFPC went through multiple changes in the last 5 to 10 years of its existence, mostly consisting of staff reductions and “flatlining” of the organization, Kenny voluntarily stepped up to increased responsibility.  While maintaining his surveying responsibilities, he took over the CFPC hunting program and assisted in all aspects of CFPC operations, from timber procurement to prescribed burning, tree planting and logging supervision.  Kenny brings with him a unique talent to deal with loggers and hunters in a frank and fair manner as only an Eastern Shore native can.  He has been instrumental in Vision Forestry’s efforts to maximize sawlog merchandising out of first and second thinnings. 
            Kenny is currently a member of Maryland Forests Association and maintains his Master Logger status where he has accumulated more continuing education training hours than any logger in the State.
